Hockey Chandigarh defeat Delhi Hockey

Hockey Chandigarh won 3-0 over Delhi Hockey in Pool C match on the sixth day of the 9th Hockey India Sub Junior Men National Championship 2019 (A Division) in Raipur, Chhattisgarh on Thursday.
Surinder Singh (4th), Sumit (25th), Raman (50th) were the scorers for the Chandigarh side.
In another Pool C match, Hockey Haryana crushed Assam Hockey 16-1. Roshan (9th, 10th, 44th, 54th, 56th, 57th) scored six goals, while Tanuj Sroha (8th, 32nd, 34th, 48th, 53rd) struck five times for Haryana. Sachin (22nd, 43rd), Deepak (1st), Yogesh Singh (20th) and captain Vikas (26th) found the net once each.
Muzahidul Hque was the lone scorer for the Assam side.
Hockey Jharkhand defeated Hockey Rajasthan 5-0 in a Pool D match. Captain Ashim Tirkey (10th, 30th), Aseem Aind (7th), Joseph Topno (11th) and Deepak Soreng (53rd) scored for Jharkhand.
Earlier that day Hockey Punjab outplayed Hockey Andhra Pradesh 10-0 in Pool A match.
Captain Rajinder Singh (2nd, 48th, 60th) and Amritpal Singh (5th, 11th, 41st) scored a hat-trick each, while Sanjay Kumar (23rd, 27th) scored a brace. Gurminder Singh (22nd) and Prabhjot Singh (44th) added a goal each to the Punjab win.
