Delhi Daredevils dominated proceedings for most of the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal before losing track in the end to hand over the victory to the opposition. Batting first, DD posted a competitive 163/5 thanks to a whirlwind innings of 65 runs by Prithvi Shaw. The captain Shreyas Iyer scored 44 runs in 36 balls as well.
In reply, Alex Hales scored 45 runs of 31 balls to keep the hosts in the hunt. Yusuf Pathan scored 27 runs of just 12 balls in the end to hand SRH the win with a ball to spare.
