Haryana bags 6 medals in South Asian Archery Championship

India gathered a total of 23 medals at the South Asian Archery Championship conducted in Dhaka from 24th March to 28th March 2018. 126 athletes from 8 nations took part in the competition. 16-year-old Harsh Prashar and 15-year-old Rishabh Yadav won gold medals in their respective categories.
The selection was done based on the performance in the Khelo India school games. Gurgaon’s archery coach Kapil Kaushik served as the mentor of the young team.
