Harman wins U-12 title

Harman defeated Jaskirat Singh 6-5 to win the combined U-12 category title on the concluding day of the Open Tennis Championship, organised by the Ideal Tennis Academy, at Manav Mangal School, Sector 11, on Sunday. Earlier, in the semifinals, he defeated Aditya Rathore 6-3, while Jaskirat Singh struggled beat Shrawasti Kundliya 6-5 (5).
Yash Jindal won the combined U-14 title by defeating Daksh Khokhar 6-1. In the semifinals, Jindal had defeated Uday Davesar 6-2, while Khokhar defeated Aditya Rathore 6-2. Earlier, in the U-12 quarterfinals, Harman defeated Trishubh 6-2. Aditya Rathore moved ahead by defeating Daksh Kapoor 6-3, while Jaskirat Singh defeated Neev Sahni 6-0. Shrawasti Kundliya also won his match against Simar Pal 6-0. In combined U-14 category, Daksh Kokhar defeated Shriya 6-5. Aditya Rathore defeated Daksh Varnan Dureja 6-0, while Yash Jindal outplayed Jaskirat Singh 6-2. Uday Davesar registered 6-5 (3) win against Ishika Rawat to before confirming his semis berth.—TNS
