Handball Titles go to the girls of Presentation Convent School

The girls of Presentation Convent School (PCS) bagged both U-14 and U-17 Handball titles in a two day inter school district level girls competition being held at MA Stadium, under the banner of Dept. of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS).
The U-14 final between PCS and Army Public School (APS) DAMANA went to the girls of PCS with a score of 5-1.
The U-17 match ended in the same fashion with PCS emerging victorious against APS with a score line of 5-2, making it a clean sweep for PCS in Handball.
Meanwhile, in girls softball event, Carmel Convent won over DBN 5-2 in U-14 category. In U-17 age group, again Carmel Convent emerged winner against MRLD 8-5 in the final.
The events were officiated by the technical panel comprising Taqdir Singh, Anil Gandotra, Anil Sharma, Jyoti Sharma, Gourav Sharma, Harvinder Singh and Varinder Singh.
Meanwhile, boys’ U-14 and U-17 Hupkwondo competition is going to start at Government Boys Higher Secondary School (GBHSS) Gandhi Nagar, here tomorrow.
