Guwahati FC open its Football school

After Goreswar and Rowta, Guwahati City FC (GCFC) has opened its new football school at Pabhoi, Biswanath Chariali, Assam yesterday.
With the objectives of training kids and find hidden talents across the State, GCFC is setting up football schools in various districts and football rich Biswanath Chariali is the new addition. The opening ceremony was held at Pabhoi Tea Estate ground. Gaurav Barman, assistant manager, Pabhoi Tea Estate; Manoj Lal, director, Siksha Academy; Darick Ranjan Deka, co-founder, GCFC; former footballers of the locality, among others attended the opening ceremony.
The football school started with a total of 50 local youngsters. Football kits and equipment were distributed amongst the trainees. Talented players will be picked for GCFC Football Academy teams, stated a GCFC press release.
