Gurukul: The School inaugurated Hockey Championship with steady win

Gurukul: The School announced the commencement of hockey championship from Wednesday in Ghaziabad. The first-day play for the tournament was played in between A team of host team against the B team. Championship received immense applaud as chief guest Dronacharya award winner Narender Kumar Saini and Delhi University’s Assistant Professor Virender Singh Jaggi inaugurated the tournament. The principal of Gurukul School thanked all the players for their participation and invited all the guests to witness the thrilling experience of hockey games in school.

The match between Gurukul: The School A team and J.K.G International School B team ended in favor of the hosts. Gurukul: The School started their hockey championship spell with an easy win of 5-1 against J.K.G International School.

In the other match for the day, J.K.G School’s A-Team formulated effortless win against Aster Public School with a scoreline of 4-0. The tournament along with basketball championship will end on 21st July with the distribution of awards to the young achievers.

Day 03: 2nd Ishwar Basketball Tournament

Ongoing Basketball tournament in Gurukul: The School located in Ghaziabad witnessed not so promising day for the hosts on day 03 of the tournament.

Uttam School for Girls retained their winning stroke as they evolved as the winner in the second straight win in the tournament. The match between D.P.S Noida and Silver Line Prestige School favored the later team as they achieved a mammoth win against D.P.S Noida by leading with 31-2 points.

The last match for the day between J.K.G International School and Father Angel School commands victorious tour for J.K.G International. The school enjoyed total 2 wins for the day and outshines amongst other counterparts as the strong contender to win the tournament.
