Gurukul: The School accelerates dominance in Championship

On Thursday, hosts Gurukul: The School emerges out as a better side amongst the other participants who played their initial matches in the tournament on 2nd Day of the event. In response to the game played against A team of Vidhya Bharti School, Gurukul showed better team spirit to win the match with a scoreline of 5-2.
Thursday proved to be the busy day for the sports lover, as the day witnessed 7 grossing basketball matches played during the whole course of the day.
The first hockey match played in Gurukul’s New
playground for the day witnessed the great competition between S.D College and Vidhya Bharti’s B team, the match ended with a mammoth response for S.D College team as they whitewashed Vidhya Bharti’s team with 5-0 result. In the second match R.K., I team gained advancement against J.K.G Nandgram team with 4-0 result. The third match for the day favored the host team against Vidhya Bhartiya A-Team as they formed victorious result in the match with a 5-2 scoreline. In the fourth match, Gurukul B team received disheartened result against J.K.G A team and they ended the game without scoring a goal against 5 phenomenal strikes of the counterparts. Last hockey match for the day ended with a drawn result between S.D International College and D.D.P.S.
Talking about basketball matches, total 7 matches were played for the duration of the day. The first match brings a shallow result for the hosts, as they lost the course of the match with scoreline 31-12. Second basketball match for the day favored Kothari International School as they gained advancement in the match by finishing the game at 28-23. The third match sees J.K.G International School as the winning side against Amity International school by converting 44-32 chances in baskets. The last match for the day delivers a smile on the face of Silver Line Prestige School students as they won their particular match with 11-09 scoreline.
Performing with full spirit and advancing his team for the next encounter, Kaushik was accredited with ‘Star of the day’ trophy.
