Gurgaon District Chess Association to organise Inter School Chess Competition on 24th and 25th March

With a growing interest among the masses, particularly school students, chess has transformed from a mere pastime to a popular sport among kids. Noting the growth in its popularity, the Gurgaon District Chess Association has made its mission to give students a chance to compete and develop their chess skills.
It will organise the first Inter School Chess Competition to be held in Shree Ram Global School on 24th and 25th March 2018. Students from all over NCR will test and hone their skills as they compete for attractive prizes.
The participants will be divided into different age groups- Under-7, Under-9, Under-11, Under-13. The last date to register for the event is 22nd March. Cash prizes, certificates and trophies will be given to the winners. It is a good chance for chess players to prepare for the District and National Competition to be held in May.
