Gurgaon Boxers excels District Level Championship with 7 medal counts

Boxing team of Raghunath Bal Vidya Mandir of Farukkh Nagar in Gurgaon has grabbed overall seven medals in the District Level boxing Championship. In the tournament sponsored by Education Department, the team grabbed three gold, one silver and three bronze medals in different categories.
Ragunath Bal Mandir team with fantastic medal count finished the competition with overall 3rd rank. All the boxers were welcomed with great celebration in their native village Patali Gaon. Villagers and School Officials welcomed the winners with garlands and shower of love.
School Official Praveen Sharma in his speech said that Education, Sports and Dignity plays an important role in every person’s life. He further said that games like Kabaddi, Boxing, Wrestling and Hockey are integrated part of our nation’s progress. He requested all the families of the village to pay equal attention for child’s passion for sports just like they focus on their studies.
