Green Land school prevails at Karate Championship

Students of Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Jalandhar bypass branch, overpowered their opponents, securing as many as 45 medals, including 24 gold, 17 silver and four bronze medals in the Ludhiana Sahodaya Schools Complex Karate Championship held on December 7 and 8.
The championship was organised by Darshan Academy, Bhamian Kalan, wherein students (boys and girls U-14, 17 and 19) from different schools took part.
Green Land School stamped its superiority in the boys’ section as its students made a clean sweep, clinching top honours in all three age groups. Besides, girl students came out triumphant in the U-17 category in addition to finishing as runners-up in the girls U-14 section and as second runners-up in the U-19 group.
