Green land girls secure the U19 title

Hosts Green Land Convent School, New Subhash Nagar branch, emerged champions in the girls U-19 section of the Ludhiana Sahodaya Schools Complex (Central Zone) Basketball Tournament for Boys and Girls being held in Ludhiana.
Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town, secured second position while Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Jalandhar bypass branch, finished at the third place. Jyoti Sachdev Pujara, principal of the host school, congratulated the position holders.
In the boys’ section, GMT Public School, Jalandhar bypass, warded off stiff challenge from Ryan International School before romping home victorious 31-30 and Darshan Academy, Bhamian Kalan, Chandigarh Road, got the better of GRD Academy, Hambran Road, 39-35 while Green Land Convent School, Dugri branch, beat GMT International School, Kakowal, 17-6 to advance into the next round.
