GNPS wins district science congress

Simarjeet Kaurof Class VI and Gurasees Singh of Class VII, Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town, stood first in the 27th district-level Children’s Science Congress held at RS Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar. A total of 18 schools took part in the competition, at which the ‘Waste to Wealth’, a project on waste management of flowers, was judged the best. District Education Officer (secondary) SwaranjitKaur and Deputy DEO (secondary) Ashish Kumar awarded the winners with trophies and certificates.
