Government Model Senior Secondary School (Sector 22) won the inter-school girls’ U-14 football championship by registering a 3-0 win over Government Model High School (Sector 20) here today.
Mehak scored the opening goal in the 4th minute, while Sugam doubled the lead in the 22nd minute. Nandini netted the third and the final goal in the 34th minute of the match. Carmel Convent School (Sector 9) registered a 1-0 win over Government Model Senior Secondary (Sector 21) to claim the third position. Tanvi scored the only goal of the match in the 11th minute.
