GMSSS-18 crowned champions in a thriller finale

Government Girls Model Senior Secondary School (GGMSSS), Sector 18, registered a narrow 58-57 win over Sri Guru Gobind Singh Senior Secondary School, Sector 35, to claim the title in the girls’ U-19 inter-school kabaddi tournament in Chandigarh yesterday. This match lived upto all expectations as just by one point GGSSS lost the summit clash from the hands of GMSSS-18.
GGMSSS, Sector 20, claimed the third position. They drubbed Government Model Senior Secondary School, Dhanas, 37-12 in the playoff.
Meanwhile, in the boys U-17 semifinals, GMSSS, Maloya, defeated GMSSS, Sector 32, 56-45, while GMSSS, Dhanas, downed SGGS School 30-10.
