Gladiators to face Poonch Royal in Volleyball League final

Poonch Gladiators shall be playing against Poonch Royal in the final of the Poonch Volleyball League being organised by Shaheed Manjit Singh Volleyball Club under the aegis of Volleyball Association of Jammu and Kashmir at Degree College ground, here.

Earlier, in the last league match of the event, Poonch Royal defeated Poonch Thunder Bolt 3-2 (15-11, 15-13, 12-15, 14-15, 15-10) in a close and entertaining contest.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Operations, Munish Sharma was the Special Guest in today’s match, who interacted with the amidst message of adopting sports as a career.

He quoted the live example of international , Saqlain Tariq, who rose from a modest beginning of a school level player from of Poonch to a professional sportsman. He also appreciated the role of Chairman, Manjit Singh Cluba Mohd Tariq Khan for promoting the game of volleyball.
