Girls dominates Day 02 of District Level Taekwondo Championship

Day 02 of District Level Taekwondo Championship witnessed Under 17 age group matches in Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector 38 Gurgaon. Girls showcased action-packed performances and dominated the medal tally in the action packed competition.
Coach Kulwant Singh announced that Deepika of MDS School attained the ace spot in 25-30kg Girls Under-17 age category matches. On the other hand student of DPS Maruti Kunj Jassi Rawat claimed the runner up spot.
35kg weight category announced name of Simran from Pathfinder School at the top spot while Riya Yadav of Farukkh Nagar was named as the runner-up of the particular category.
Stadium Manager Sukhbir awarded the medals and appreciation certificate to all the winners. He informed that around 200 Taekwondo players in both boys and girls category are participating in the competition. Final stage match of the tournament will be played on Friday and the winner of the finals will be handed over the medals in the closing ceremony.
