Girl students outshines Akrilik Yoga Tournament under Khelo India Initiative

Taking forward the legacy of Khelo India initiative, zonal level Akrilik Yoga tournament excited the locals of Ghaziabad. Yoga groups from all over the NCR region took part in the unique event and it enjoyed mammoth response from the spectators. Participants of Saint Joseph Academy located in the Mariam Nagar were honored with the ace positioning in the junior category.
Eight of the district schools took part in the tournament which was inaugurated in the modern academy of Indirapuram. In addition of carrying winning trophy; Divyanshi, Nandani Prajapati, Jyoti, Anshika Sharma and Kanchan Raghav of Saint Joseph Academy were selected for state level tournament to be played on 22 August.
Yogacharya Amardeep while distributing the prizes and telling spectators about the importance of yoga, appreciated the initiative and demanded more participation from young blood.
