Galaxian and Saint Kabir School ensures spot in Quarter-Final lineup

6 schools of Dehradun region marks their entry in the Quarter-Final stage line up of the 5th Edition of ILG Maan Memorial Junior Futsal Tournament organised in Carman School. In the Pre Quarter-Final matches of the event; Saint Kabir School, Aryan School, Saint Judes School, Saint Xavier, Galaxian and The Heritage teams won their individual matches and reached the Quarter-Final stage.
On Tuesday 3 matches each on grounds of Saint Thomas College and Carman School were played. First match at the Carman School Ground offered equal opportunity for Saint Kabir team and Colonel Brown Cambridge School’s team. In the match, Saint Kabir team attained mammoth win against Colonel Brown team with 8-0 scoreline.
Second match of the day formed great dominance chance for Aryan School and Doon International School. The Aryan Team showcased better game and reached quarterfinal with 5-3 score. Third match declared Saint Judes team progression for next game with walk-over due to absence of Shivalik International team in the match.
Matches at Saint Thomas College ground accounted Galaxian and Sri Ram Sanitary chances to win spot in the quarterfinal. The match favored Galaxian team as they triggered 6-3 win against Sri Ram Sanitary. Second match was played in between Saint Xavier team and Raja Ram Mohan team in which Xavier grabbed crucial win in the match with 5-3 scoreline. In third match, Heritage team claimed their chances for quarter final match with 3-2 scoreline against Grace Academy.
On Thursday, all the quarter-final matches of the tournament will offer great entertainment for the spectators.
