Rama cricket academy Delhi defeated All rounder Cricket Academy Delhi by 18 runs in the 4th S.N. Dubey memorial U-14 cricket tournament, organized by Praveen Nagar cricket academy here in Noida stadium.
On a perfect sunny day, All-rounder Cricket Academy Delhi won the toss and elected to field. Batting first on a hard wicket, Rama cricket academy Delhi rode on useful contributions from the top order batsmen Naitik Vij (23 from 30 balls), Pragyan (29 from 22 balls), Rydam (22 from 37 balls) and the number eight batsman Raj (25 from 22 balls) to post a challenging score of 142/9 in 25 overs.
In reply, All rounder Cricket Academy Delhi managed to score only 124/5 in their allotted 25 overs. Rama cricket academy’ bowling proved too good for the opposition and even healthy contributions from Hritik Kaushik (33 from 63 balls) and Manvindra Singh (27 from 35 balls) were not enough to chase the target down.
Despite ending up on a losing side, All rounder cricket academy’s Rohan Rathi won the man of the match for his all-round show of scoring 15 runs and taking 2 wickets for just 4 runs in 2 overs.
