Five footballers of Noida district got selected for Sub Junior Football Championship

Five young souls entered the Sub Junior Championship for the very first time. These energetic chaps got one-time opportunity to represent Meerut team in the prestigious competition. The officials of the state organized trial cum talent hunt in the Meerut city on Thursday. This year Inter State Sub Junior Championship will be hosted in the city Bareilly from 15 July. Selected young gems Anshul Parashar, Shresth Malik, Abhishek Kumar and Aditya Pratap Singh will reach Bareilly one day in advance of the tournament. District Noida’s Football Federation was overjoyed with the news of record 5 players representation in the crucial tournament.
Kailash Prakash Sports Stadium was the venue of district football trial in Bareilly. In addition to Noida players, trial observed participation of football enthusiasts from Ghaziabad, Noida, Baghpat, and Hapur. Total 15 members team was finalized at the end of the day. Solid looking Uttar Pradesh team comprises of 7 Meerut players, 5 Noida players, 2 Baghpat players and 1 Ghaziabad player.
