Fateh scampers to gold

Fateh Singh Gill clocked 11.92s to win the 25m run in the M01 category at the State Special Olympics Athletics Meet here today. Ravi Kumar (13.41s) finished second, while Aditya Mishra (13.51s) bagged the third position.
Mayank (13.68s), Tanmay Mahajan (14.99s) and Khushdeep Singh (15.44s) claimed the top-three positions, respectively, in the M02 category, while Yojan Goyal clocked 17.50s to lead the M03 category. He was followed by Tinku (18.62s) in second place, while Anuj Nagpal (20.09s) secured the third spot.
In the F01 category, Harleen Kaur (20.28s) sprinted to 100m gold. Kalpana (20.88s) bagged the silver, while Anjali (20.89s) took home the bronze medal.
Jiya (25.25s) led the field in the F02 category. She was followed by Amrisha Kumari (26.84s) and Parul (31.97s) in second and third places, respectively.
Gurjeet Kaur completed the 100m dash in 34.09s to top the podium in the F03 category. Nisha (37.22s) won the silver, while Tanvi (38.41s) got the bronze medal.
