Faridabad’s Sunny sprints to gold in 200m and 400m

At the concluding day of the 3 day state level athletic meet in Sector-12 sports complex, Faridabad’s Sunny made the headlines as sprinter bagged twin Gold medal in the 200m and 400m.
In the first event of the day which was 100m sprint Jind’s Gobind Kumar left his opponents in shambles as he won Gold while Panchkula Ashok Kumar claimed second and Kurukshetra’s Ankush had to settle for bronze.
In the 200m sprint Faridabad’s Sunny claimed gold by a huge margin against his opponents, Sonipat’s Amit claimed silver and Panipat’s Ankush had to settle for bronze.
In the 400m, Faridabad’s Sunny brilliance was again on display as he won his second Gold of the competition by outrunning Sonipat’s Amit Baliyan and Panchkula’s Ankit for silver and bronze respectively
In the 800m race Rewari’s Manoj claimed gold as Sirsa’s Virbhan and Panchkula’s Gagan had to settle for silver and bronze respectively.
1500m saw second gold of the competition for Rewari’s Manoj Kumar as he outrunned Panchkula’s Gagan and Karnal’s Ravi for silver and bronze respectively.
