Faridabad’s Rekha Tanwar wins 3 golds at National Archery Championship

Manipur recently took centre stage as it served as the venue of the National Archery Championship from 8th March to 11th March, 2018. Faridabad resident Rekha Tanwar shone through at the Championship bagging 3 gold medals in different categories.
Coming from a rural background, Rekha hopes her win will inspire the coming generation of girls in her village to take up sports and realise their potential. She is the first women from her village to make a big name for herself. The event was organised by the School Game Federation of India.
