ELGI students bring laurels to the school

Students of ELGI Matriculation Higher Secondary School Vellalore, Coimbatore, brought laurels to the school by excelling in two events held recently. The Fourth National Yogasana Championship 2019 was conducted at Madar Higher Secondary School, Andaman Islands. More than 1500 students participated in the competition. M. Mahima, a student of class VIII from ELGI, showcased her yoga skills and bagged the championship.
In the 3rd National Roller Netted Ballpionship 2018-19 held at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, ELGI students, V. Tridev Badhri of class VIII and V. Trinethra Thamira of class VI, won the first place in the Sub Junior Boys category and the Sub Junior Girls category, respectively.
G. Mani, correspondent, K.K. Ganesh, principal and S. Rajendran, vice principal, lauded the students.
