DPS Noida’s Aaliyah Singh dreams to represent India at the Olympics in swimming

There have been a few sportspersons from Noida making the mark at the world stage. Parvinder Awana, Arjun Vajpayee and Rahul Bajaj are some of the names that come to mind. But Aaliyah Singh is a rising name in the world of swimming. In October 2016, she clinched 5 golds and a silver at the SAF Games in Sri Lanka. She has even participated in the Khelo India Games and won 5 medals for her state.
Aaliyah says that her dream is to represent the country in the Olympics. To realise her dream, she practises 6 hours a day. A prodigy, many would be taking a close look at her in the years to come.
