DPS gets winning start at Kabaddi tourney

A kabaddi competition was recently held by District Kabaddi Association of Faridabad at Sector17, YMCA Sports complex in which almost six matches were played on its opening day.
In this tournament 18 teams from around NCR are participating in both girls and boys senior matches.
Tournament first match was played between Saint Anthony and DPS Ballabgarh, in which boys from DPS outsmart their opponents by the 38-17 points difference.
In another match of the day team from village Sehatpur defeated Bhatia Colony in a one-sided match by 28-8 to reach in the second round of the tournament.
Village Mohana defeated Boys from VidyaSagar International School. In another match of the day team representing host YMCA defeated Village Janva. Match between YMCA B team and Saheed Bhagat Singh was clearly match of the day on the opening day of Kabaddi Tourney, as this thriller encounter ended in Saheed Bhagat Singh winning by just one point and deprived B team of hosts to advance further in the tourney.
Former sarpanch of village Chirsi, Bhupender Singh Yadav was the Guest of honour on first day of Kabaddi tourney. Head of Kabaddi association Dr. Sukhpal Singh told that players who will perform well in this tourney will get selected for State Kabaddi team.
