Doon team axed down Aryan School to clinch Football Championship Title

Doon School team attains mammoth 5-0 lead against Aryan School in the final match of Council School Senior Boys Football Tournament to claim the winning title. Doon’s player Uddhav Thakur triggered hat-trick goals mark in the crucial final match and ended the tournament with highest goal scorer of the tournament.
On Tuesday, the final match of the tournament was played in the ground of Saint Joseph School between both the finalist teams. Doon team started the match on a positive note with small passes amongst the teammates. In the 8th minute of the match, Doon team’s forward Uddhav Thakur opened goals account for the team. Uddhav took charge for another goal in just 15th minute of the match and scripted the score tally with 2-0 scoreline.
Bhanu of Doon team in 31st minute of the match extended the lead for 3-0 mark. In 38 minute of the match Uddhav Thakur claimed hat-trick for the team and lead reached mammoth 4-0 for the Doon team.
Doon team firmly grabbed their hold over the match in the second half of the match and Shivam Sharma achieved the final goal of the match in 55th minute of the match marking the lead for 5-0. At the end of the tournament, Principal Brother Babu Vargis distributed the medals amongst the winners and runner-up team’s member. Dharmendra Singh Negi, Abhiruch Gurung, Pushkar Gosai and SP Joshi were the standing referee of the match.
