District Under-25 Games: Amrit Indo-Canadian school claimed handball title on the last day of games

Amrit Indo-Canadian School, Ladian village, and GSSS, PAU, emerged winners in handball in girls and boys sections, respectively, in the District-Level (U-25) Games that concluded in Ludhiana, today. Competition in the 17 sports disciplines was held during the three-day games, organised by the Punjab Sports Department under the Tandarust Punjab Mission and to celebrate the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev.

In the girl’s section, Government Senior Secondary, PAU, secured second position and PAU finished at the third place while in the boys’ category, PAU and SCD Government College finished as first and second runners-up, respectively.

In kho-kho (boys), Coaching Centre, Jawahar Nagar, along with Azad Club, Pamal, and Government School, Jawahar Camp, secured first three positions, whereas in the girl’s group, Ghalin Kalan village came out triumphant, followed by Government Girls College, Ludhiana, and Shaheed Sukhdev Thapar Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Bharat Nagar, at second and third positions, respectively.
