District TT Championship: Arihant triumphs over Ishan in Final

Arihant Goyal of Manav Mangal School, Sector 11, registered a 13-11 12-10 11-7 win over Ishan Goyal to claim the kids’U-10 title on the opening day of the Panchkula District Table Tennis Championship in Panchkula.
Earlier, in the semifinals, Arihamt downed Ariharn 11-4 11-7 11-6, while Ishan drubbed Aradhya 11-4 11-9 11-5.
Nishika Punia of Army School edged out Shruti Balkrishna 11-5 11-9 11-4 to claim the girls’ U-14 title. In the semifinals, Nishika thrashed Diuina 11-8 11-3 11-3, while Shruti packed off Aishanee Banerjee 11-5 11-5 11-4.
In the boys’ U-12 competition, Dikshant defeated Maulik 11-9 11-7 11-4 to clinch the title. Earlier, Dikshant crushed Aradhya 11-5 11-6 11-7 to set up the title clash with Maulik, who overcame
Ishan 12-10 11-7 7-11 11-3 in the semis.
In the girls’ junior final, Pirishita ousted Aayushi 11-7 12-10 13-11.
In the semifinals, Pirishita defeated Nanki 11-6 11-4 11-5, while Aayushi pipped Ananya 12-10 5-11 8-11 11-7 11-8 in a tough outing.
