DIstrict Taekwondo: Spring Dale students clinch 8 medals

Students of Spring Dale Public School stamped their class, winning eight medals, including seven gold, in the District Inter-School Taekwondo Championship (U-17 and 19) conducted by the Education Department in Ludhiana.
The students, who brought fame to their school, were felicitated during the prayer meeting on the school premises. Gold medal winners are Kamal Rahel, Akash Kumar, Ujjwal Chaubey, Danish, Nissar Ansari, Tushar Dhir and Hemant Thakur. The lone silver medal winner from the school was Rahul Rana, a student of Class IX. All these students have qualified for the state championship.
Avinash Kaur Walia, managing director, Spring Dale Public School; directors Mandeep Singh Walia and Kamalpreet Kaur, besides principal Anil Sharma congratulated the students.
