District Table Tennis Championship: Bal Bharti School clinch twin title

In the district table tennis competition, the title matches of all the squads were played at the Noida Stadium on Sunday. The players of Bal Bharti School took two team event titles to the competition. More than 150 players participated in the three-day competition. The winners and runners-up were rewarded with trophies and medals. Vishwa Bharati also won the two events of the team event.

DPS became winner in sub junior category. The second place went to Vishwa-Bharati School. The final of the boys’ class was won by APJ. lotus valley school had to settle for second place. Bal Bharti School became the winner in the junior category girls category. DPS was runner-up. Bal Bharti School was the winner in boys category. DPS became runner-up. Samarth and Ayush won the doubles title. He defeated the pair of Shiva and Om. Sonal and Saranya became winners in the girls category.

The mixed doubles final was won by Avi and Sonal. Chiraksh Arora became the winner in the kids category of the individual events. Sarah won the final in the cadet category. In the class of 11 to 12, Samarth won the title. Ayesha Saxena won the finals in the girls sub junior category. Om Mazumdar won the boys category. In the girls’ junior category, Sonal Jain performed brilliantly to win the winner’s trophy. Shiv Saxena was the winner among boys. At the end of the competition the players were awarded trophies.
