District- School Games starts

A large number of students are taking part in different sports disciplines in the district-level games for primary students being organised by the Education Department at Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha Stadium, Sarabha village in Ludhiana on 15th October.
Rajinder Kaur, District Education Officer, was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony. Balwiner Kaur, BPEO, Sudhar Zone; Jasdeep Singh, Baljit Singh, Rajminder Pal Singh, Baldev Singh, Kewal Singh , Malwinder Singh Sekhon, Jagjeet Singh Randhawa, Sukhjinder Kaur, Balraj Singh were among others present on this occasion.

Badminton (boys): Samrala zone first, Ludhiana zone second and Dehlon zone third. Badminton (girls): Samrala zone first, Ludhiana zone second and Jagraon zone third.
Football (boys): Ludhiana zone first, Dehlon zone second and Samrala zone third. Football (girls): Ludhiana zone first, Samrala zone second and Jagraon zone third.
Wrestling (boys 25 kg): Mohammad Bachchu of Jagraon zone first and Naseeb of Sehlon zone second. Wrestling 28 kg: Parminder Singh of Jagraon zone first, Krsihna Yadav of Dehlon zone second.
