District-level games to begin today, Punjab

The district-level games for boys and girls (U-14) to be organised by the Punjab Sports Department under the Mission Tandarust Punjab will be held from July 23 to 25.
Competition in these three-day games will be held at Guru Nanak Stadium, multipurpose hall opposite the stadium, Punjab Agricultural University campus grounds, leisure valley skating rink, Municipal Corporation Swimming Pool besides Samrala.
Guru Nanak Stadium will be the venue for athletics, basketball, badminton, football and table tennis, while competition in judo, gymnastics, wrestling, kabaddi, volleyball and kho-kho will be conducted at the multipurpose hall.
Likewise, hockey and handball matches will be played on the PAU campus whereas the leisure valley rink will host roller skating competition and swimming competition will be held at the MC Swimming Pool, near Rakh Bagh, while boxing will be organised at Samrala.
