District Karate: Green Land School bags 11 medals

Students (boys) of Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Jalandhar bypass branch, fetched 11 medals in the Ludhiana District School Karate Championship conducted by the Punjab Schools Education Department, Ludhiana at Guru Nanak Stadium on September 25 and 26.
They won these medals, including two gold medals in the U-14, 17 and 19 categories, in this championship in which a large number of participants from different schools competed.
Anubhav Sharma (below 58-kg weight category) and Tulsi Raj (below 78-kg weight group) clinched gold medals in the U-17 age section. Five silver medals were bagged by Saksham Gola (below 40-kg) and Vinay Sehgal (below 50-kg) in the U-14 group; Raghav Gupta (below 62-kg) and Manav (below 66-kg) in the U-17 category while Arjun Choudhary (below 70-kg) in the U-19 section.
The students who secured bronze medals are Lavish Bagga (below 55-kg), Shivam (plus 60-kg) in the U-14 section; and Jujhar Singh (below 70-kg) and Rachit Sharma (below 74-kg) in the U-17 category.
