District games started at Devilal Stadium

Sports Department affiliated District sports tournament started from Monday at Gurugram. First day saw various games played at different venues across the city. Sector 38 located Tau Devilal Stadium held Archery competition for Under-14, 17 and 19 age category for both Girls and Boys in compound and Indian rounds.
Tournament organiser T.P Sharma told in boys Under-14 category- Yash from Springs Field School bagged Gold, Ankit from Damdama Government High School won Silver while Harsh settled for Bronze.
In Girls category- Bhavya Rana of The Maurya School won Gold, Rashi of Amity International school sector-43 won Silver and Kanishka from The Maurya settled for bronze.
In boys Under-17 category-Abhishek of Government School Abhaypur came first and Government school Bhondasi’s Lalit and Dinesh came second and third respectively.
In Girls Under-17- DAV School-14’s Vibhi Sharma came first, Government school Abhaypur’s Rachna came second and Garima from The Maurya School came third.
In Under-19 boys- Sumit, Mahesh and Pramod of Government School Abhaypur came first, second and third respectively by putting a proper dominant display.
In Girls Under-19- Anjali, Sapna and Savita claimed first, second and third position respectively.
