ChessDistrict Chess Tournament

District Chess Tournament which is being organized by YoGems in collaboration with Noida and Gr. Noida Chess Association concluded today at Raghav Global School, Noida. Around 150 players from more than 40 schools exhibited there talent by participating in under 7 and under 9 categories.

In Girls Under 9 category, Siya Singh of Delhi Public School, Noida came first with 4 out of 4 points. Vedika Gorladinne of Sapphire International School stood second with 3 points. Pritika Joshi of JSS Public School came third with 3 points.

In Boys Under 7 category, Shaurya Sisodia of Amity International School, Noida came first with 6 out of 6 points. Ishant Singh of Cambridge School came second with 5 points and Arjun Maheshwari of Manav Rachna International School came third with 4.5 points.

In Boys Under 9 category, Vihaan Jain of Lotus Valley International School stood first with 6 out of 6 points. Vyom Chauhan of Somerville School came second with 5 points and Rishit Singh came third with 5 points.

YoGems CEO Damnish Kumar, District Chess Association Secretary Mr. K.C. Joshi and Ms Supriti Chauhan gave the certificates and the trophies to all the participants and the winners. The top player from each category are selected for the State trials.
