District Chess Championship started from today
July 22, 2017, Noida
District Chess Championship which is being organized by Yogems in association with Gautam Budh Nagar District Chess Association for Under 7 and Under 9 category started today at Raghav Global School, Noida. Around 150 participants from more than 40 Schools registered for the tournament.
In Girls Under 7 category, Saiesha Mehra stood first. Tashna Aggarwal came second and Yashasvvi Khandelwal took the third spot. There were total of three rounds.
In Boys Under 7 category, Arjun Maleswani, Aryan Rai and Shaurya Sisodia are leading the points table with 3 points each after 3 rounds. There are 3 more rounds to be played tomorrow.
In Girls Under 9 category, Vedika Gorladinne and Siya Singh are leading the points table with 3 points each. The last round will be played tomorrow.
In Boys Under 9 category, Shubham Gupta, Rishit Singh, Naitik Shukla, Vihaan Jain, Vyom Chauhan and Saransh Yadav have 3 points each after 3 rounds. There are 3 more rounds that will be played tomorrow.
