Delhi University announced as the ‘Champion’ of North Zone Basketball Championship

North Zone Inter University Women Basketball Championship finally marks its end on Monday. The Championship favored Delhi University team to hold the gracious winning trophy of the tournament.
Amity School of Gurgaon region was the host of all matches of the prestigious tournament. Arjun Award recipient Bhim Singh and Association of Indian University’s Sports Secretary Dr Gurpreet Singh were the special guests.
The championship was scheduled for 6 days and 55 different teams from the North Zone Universities were the participants of the Basketball Championship. 4 top performing Basketball teams from the tournament has find spot in the All India Inter University competition.
University of Delhi has claimed their way for the top spot, Punjab University has marked their presence with the second spot, Maharishi Dayanad University of Rohtak region has clinched the third spot and Jamia Miliya Islamiya University settled for the fourth spot.
Gagan Deep Kaur has been named as the ‘Best Player of The Tournament’ for his fabulous performance in overall tournament.
