Dehradun’s Anaya Chauhan grabs spot in badminton tournament final

Ananya hailing from Dehradun has attained opportunity to represent the state side in the All India sub Junior Badminton Tournament final match.
In the final match, Ananya will face challenge against pairs from Maharashtra and Delhi. The national level championship is hosted by Pulela Gopichand Badminton Academy located in Hyderabad. Playing doubles semi-final, Ananya Chauhan and Avantika Pandey grabbed their win against second seed gainer Mehana Reddy and Tasnim Mir with scoreline 21-17, 15-21 and 24-22.
In the quarterfinal match played in advance to the semi-final match, Ananya and Avantika registered an easy win against Hiral Chauhan and Devika Sihag with straight set games win with 21-12 and 21-18.
