Dehradun lift National Basketball Championship trophy

In the 50th KVS National Basketball Championship under-17 and under-14, boys from Doon did a double over team from Jaipur and Hyderabad respectively by 66-46 and 44-16 scoreline to win both the trophies tournament had to offer. This tournament underwent from July 9th – July 12th at Kendriya Vidyalaya, AFS, Bangalore for Under-17 category and in Rewa University for Under-14 boys.
Final of this tournament (U-17) happened on July12th where team from Dehradun clashed with Jaipur at AFS, Bangalore. Match was evenly set up as both teams went pretty hard on each other from the starting whistle. At the half-time Dehradun had lead of just 3 points over Jaipur. But things went pretty downhill from there, for team Jaipur as Dehradun totally blew them out of the water. By the end of 3rd quarter Dehradun had lead of 7 points in the match and in the 4th quarter they outscore Jaipur by whooping 13 points. As the final whistle blew Dehradun had defeated Jaipur by 66-46 points.
Same thing happened in Under-14 category where Dehradun boys totally outclassed Hyderabad in an absolute one-sided match which resulted in 44-16 at the end of the third quarter(time when this article is published)
