DAV School outperforms in Junior Judo Championship

DAV School of Dehradun region has dominated the league matches of Cadet and Junior Judo Championship launched by Dehradun District Judo Association.
In the championship played in Children’s Academy, Niriksha Cheettri wins Girls Under 52kg Category, Under 57 kg category Shreya emerged as the winner, Under 63 weight category named Shivangi as the winner and in Under 78 weight category Sonakshi Panwar progressed for the top spot.
In the Boys category matches of the tournament, Under 55 kg was won by Manish, Ankit Panwar claimed positioning in Under 60 category, Vishal Bisht emerged as the winner in the Under 100kg category.
In the Girls Cadet Under 40 kg matches Radha Yadav grabbed the winning trophy, Ashi Singh wins in Under 44 weight category, Shweta outshines in Under 48 kg weight category, Under 52 weight category named Pushpa as the winner and Under 63 kg matches were won by Nisha.
Boys Cadet Under 50kg match named Shoaib Ahmed at the top spot, Under 55kg category forms winning chances for Sri Kant Yadav, Under 60 kg matches named Abhishek Bhandari as the winner, Under 66kg category dominated by Amit Dhanik, Under 81 category was dominated by Tarun Kumar and 90kg matches formed great chances for Piyush.
In the closing ceremony of the Judo Championship, Chief Guest Prem Kumar Kashyap awarded all the winners. Association Secretary Satish Sharma and Technology Secretary Avnish Bhatt were also present during the championship.
