D.P.S Udhampur debating fest UNISON ‘19 enters Day 2

Unison debating fest continued on day two for second round at Delhi Public School (DPS) Udhampur. The aim of the competition was to hone public speaking skills of the students and to teach them to be articulate while expressing their thoughts and opinions.
The speakers from classes IX-XII of various houses spoke on topics like, ‘Beauty pageant a way to abjectly women’, ‘should final exams be cancelled in school and why?’.
Programme began with the lighting of lamp followed by musical performance and hip-hop dance to entertain the audience.
Pro-Vice Chairman of the School, Dr. J.C Gupta was the Chief Guest on second day.
Participants spoke in two different languages on the same topic. Highlight of the programme was panel discussion, where panelists threw light on interesting topics like Books and Movies , which is better and more educating.
Pro-Vice Chairman appreciated the participants for their meticulous performance. He was happy to be the part of Bilingual Turncoat and Panel Discussion.
Principal Dr. Kunal Anand congratulated all the teams and participants for their remarkable and phenomenal performances. He also threw light on closing ceremony which will take place on May 31, 2019 in which prize distribution ceremony would be held.
