Cricket Gurukul and Super Star Club wins their opening matches

Cricket Gurukul and Super Star Club wins their respective matches in Under-17 White ball cricket tournament which is being held here at Faridabad. In the first match of the day Team Cricket Gurukul defeated Sledgehammer academy. In another match Super Star club won their match against Varsha Cricket academy.
In the first match of the day, Cricket Gurukul won the toss and decided to bat first. Gurukul boys scored massive 257 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 5 wickets. Takshiv Rav was clearly the man on a mission for Gurukul Boys. Rav played a blitz innings of 111 with the help of 9 fours and 9 sixes. Pahul Panwar scored 37* and Mannu Yadav contributed quick 32 runs to the innings. Sledgehammer was clearly not prepared for this challenge as team got all out for mere 54 runs in 11 overs. Only Arnav sharma was the player who was able to reach double digit for hammers. Dev Vidhuri was the pick for captain among bowlers as the young man destroyed Hammers top order by claiming five wickets in his bowling quota. Takshiv Rav was the man of the match for his brilliant century as Gurukul boys annihilated Hammers in both batting and bowling department.
Second match saw Super Star Club and Varsha Cricket Academy going one on one with each other. In this Match Super Star Club won the Toss and choose to bat first. Team scored 222 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 7 wickets.
Kunal Singh scored quick half-century of 55 runs, Jatin Sharma scored 51 not out and Ankit just missed his half-century by 2 runs- scoring 48. Nikhil bagged 3 wickets, Avnish Kumar-2 wickets and Kunal Mishra took 1 wicket for Varsha Academy. Varsha academy batting order was put on hold by Star Club bowlers, as team in reply was only able to score 176 runs- despite playing all 20 overs with the loss of just 4 wickets. Gaurav Pandey scored 81 not out, Rahul Yadav scored 42 and Avinash 16 runs. Ankit for Stars Club took 2 wickets, while Tushar and Kunal share the sploits by taking 1 wicket each. Kunal Singh was declared man of the match.
