Gauhati Town Club (GTC) scored 245 for six in their first innings in 50 overs on the opening day of the two-day Hemanga Baruah and Zaheer Alam Memorial U-13 Invitational Trophy Cricket Tournament at the Dispur Parade ground in Guwahati yesterday against City Cricket Coaching Centre (B) team.
Opting to bat first, riding on a 153-ball 101 (4×16, 6×1) by Mahadananda Borah, the GTC boys reached a healthy total and later restricted the opponent to 70 for six.
