City Boys Shine in Sri Lanka

The 2 day TENSIN CUP saw amazing performance from the players of our city.
The kids bagged 7 medals in total. 17th International Karate Championship took place on 12th and 13th May in which India, UAE, Malaysia, Afghanistan, Kenya, Bangladesh and Nepal took part.
Sunil Saini director of the Karate Association of Gurgaon said that a total of 600 players took part in the competition where 5 Gold, 2 Silver and 7 other medals were brought home.
Krishna of the U-8 age group in the 27 kg category bagged 1 gold and 1 silver. Krish of the 40 kg category in the U-12 age group won 1 gold.
Dhruv Garg of the 74 kg category in the U-15 age group won 2 gold medals.
All the players returned home on Thursday after the glory, they were welcomed with warm and proud hearts.
All the players are of the SAI Karate Academy, the players are aiming for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
