Chennaiyin FC beats FC Goa to enter ISL final

The 5 monthS long Indian Super League is coming to an exciting end. In the second semi-final of the fourth edition of the league, the south India based franchise beat FC Goa 3-0 in a scintillating match. Jeja, the Chennaiyin FC striker, was the man of the match with goals in the 26th and the 90th minute. The semi-finals are played on a home and away basis. After the two matches, Chennaiyin FC led 4-1 on aggregate.

The seconf goal was scored by Dhanapal Ganesh who found the net in the 29th minute. The scene was truly a one sided affair with Chenniyin FC taking most of the possession as well. The crowd at the Nehru Stadium were shocked with disbelief seeing their home team surrender to the arch rivals.

Chennaiyin FC will take on Bengaluru FC in the final of the Indian Super League on the 17th March in Bengaluru.
