Chennai Super Kings failed to capitalize on Rayudu’s fifty and managed to score just 169/5 in their 20 overs. Captain MS Dhoni played an uncharacteristic innings of 26 runs for 21 balls as his team managed just 73 runs off their last 10 overs.
In reply, Mumbai scored at will to win with 2 balls to spare. They just lost 2 wickets as Rohit Sharma and Ewin Lewis contributed with 56 and 47 runs repectively.
