Chandigarh Junior Hockey: CHA girls decimated GMHS-42 for place in the final

Dhapa and Kavita scored four goals each as Chandigarh Hockey Academy (CHA), Sector 42, registered an 11-0 win over Government Model High School (GMHS), Sector 42, in the semifinals of the Chandigarh State Junior Hockey Championship at the Sector 42 Sports Complex, in Chandigarh.
Priyanka put CHA ahead through a penalty corner in the 4th minute, while Kavita doubled the lead a minute later. Barkha made it 3-0 in 8th minute.
Dhapa then struck in the 9th, 11th, 18th and 19th minutes to put her side in a commanding position. Kavita scored her second goal of the match in the 20th minute.
Kamlesh extended the lead to 9-0 in the 32nd minute before Kavita struck home in the 52nd and 59th minutes to seal an 11-0 win for CHA.
In the second semifinal, GMHS, Sector 25, overcame MCM College, Sector 36, 2-1.
After initial struggle, GMHS, Sector 25, took the lead through Rajni in the 43rd minute. However, MCM College drew level just six minutes later through Prakriti.
Amanjot then struck in the 55th minute to help GMHS, Sector 25, prevail 2-1 over MCM College.
