CHA to clash with GMHS-37 for State Sub-Junior Championship

Chandigarh Hockey Academy (CHA) will face Government Model High School (GMHS), Sector 37, in the Chandigarh State Sub-Junior final tomorrow.
In the semifinals at the Sector 42 Sports Complex here today, CHA steamrolled Sri Guru Gobind Singh (SGGC) College, Sector 26, 9-1, while GMHS, Sector 37, prevailed 4-3 against GMHS, Sector 42.
CHA took the lead through Rohit in the fourth minute before Kawal Nain struck twice in the space of five minutes to make it 3-0 for the side in the 11th minute. Harpanth registered his name on goal-scorers’ list in the 13th minute, while Gaurav added one more goal to the CHA tally in the 20th minute. This coring didn’t stop until the end of 4th quarter and resulted in comprehensive 9-1 win for CHA.
